We’ve all been there: it’s noon, it’s blazing hot, and you want a lunch that hits the spot without breaking the bank. For my money, the walk-in lunch specials at Bizzarro Pizza on Palm Bay Road are hard to beat.
If you’ve never been, let me warn you: these slices are absolute monsters. We are talking classic, authentic New York-style pies where a single slice easily takes up two normal paper plates.
They keep it incredibly simple and wallet-friendly here. For just $8.00, you can walk in before 4:00 PM and grab one of three daily combos:
Two giant cheese slices and a can of soda
One cheese slice, a side salad, and a can of soda
One cheese slice, 6 garlic knots, and a can of soda
(If you want to add toppings, it’s just an extra $1.00 per slice.)
But if you want to eat like a true local, here’s my personal hack: Always ask for your slices extra crispy.
That extra minute in the deck oven completely transforms the slice. It gives the under-crust that perfect, sturdy crunch required to hold up all that cheese and sauce without the dreaded New York “flop.”
It’s cheap, it’s fast, and it’s easily one of the best lunch values anywhere in the 321.
